Selected Foreign-related Projects and Cases:
In February, the international business team of Landing Changsha was commissioned by a Hong Kong client to provide professional legal services for an accidental death incident involving an expatriate worker in Nigeria, Africa. Services included legal consultations, discussions, negotiations, as well as drafting and revising related legal documents.
In April, the team of Senior Partner Lawyer Li Xinli was commissioned by the Canadian company Sacs Industries Inc. to address a product quality dispute with China's Henan Ningling Tianyu Packaging Products Co., Ltd.
Also in April, Senior Partner Lawyer Wang Jianyong provided legal services for a client in a dispute over delays in the supply contract with the Vietnamese Huong Mo Chai project owner. The two parties ultimately resolved the dispute amicably and continued with the contract's fulfillment.
In the same month, Senior Partner Lawyer Wang Jianyong accompanied the client to Turkey and Georgia to discuss matters related to hydropower and solar energy project investments. An MOU was reached with the Georgian partners regarding the project development plan.

Selected Foreign-related Activities:
In early March, the research topic "Innovative Research on Foreign-related Legal Service Support System in the China (Hunan) Free Trade Pilot Zone Changsha Section," undertaken by Landing Changsha, was successfully reviewed by experts. The study received affirmative directives from the city committee leaders and is now officially concluded. Yin Xiangnan, the director of Landing Changsha, led the research team. Deputy Director of the International Business Department Huang Xingyong, lawyers Fu Yao, Zou Xiaoqiong, Li Qian, and Li Jing were team members, with Huang Xingyong, Yin Xiangnan, and Fu Yao as the main authors.
On April 3rd, Yin Xiangnan, Director of Landing Changsha, was selected for the advanced training class for foreign-related lawyers hosted by the Ministry of Justice and undertaken by Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, and the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, contributing Landing's expertise to foreign-related rule of law.
On April 12th, Landing's International Investment and Trade Department and Insurance & Maritime Commercial Department jointly held an event where Senior Partner Yang Hongjie delivered a lecture on the topic "Victory in the London Arbitration under the Shipbuilding Contract - DEMAND GUARANTEE" at the Landing's Equality Meeting Room. He provided a detailed analysis of the challenging aspects of the case and shared his experience representing in full-English foreign-related arbitrations as a Chinese lawyer.
On April 13th, Senior Partner Li Xinli was invited to lecture postgraduate students at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law on the topic of an overview of British civil and commercial litigation procedures, which was well-received by the students.
On April 22nd, Deputy Director of Landing Changsha's International Business Department, Lawyer Huang Xingyong, was invited to attend the symposium "High-level Opening up to the Outside World and the New Journey of International Economic Law" at China University of Political Science and Law, organized by the Chinese Society of International Economic Law.
On April 26th, Shanghai Landing Law Offices and East China University of Political Science and Law's School of International Financial Law co-hosted a professional forum on "RMB Internationalization and International Financial Sanctions." Notable attendees included Professor Liang Shuang, Deputy Dean of East China University of Political Science and Law's School of International Financial Law, Liu Yixing, the Director of Landing's Global Committee, Dr. Liu Jun, Associate Professor at East China University of Political Science and Law's School of International Financial Law, Huang Zhengdong, the Director of Landing's Chicago Office, Senior Partner Huang Xueshan from Landing's Shenzhen Office, and Lawyer Huang Xinying from Landing's Changsha. The forum was chaired by Senior Partner Li Xinli of Landing's Shanghai.
