On the afternoon of April 14, 2023, Shanghai Landing Law Offices, serving as a practical teaching base of Tongji University Law School, conducted the first session of the Family Law Clinic practice course for the spring semester of 2023. This course was taught by Guo Xiping, a external tutor from Tongji University, and Senior Partner Lawyer at Landing. The course topic was "Analysis of Adjudication Rules for Shareholder Disputes in Family Cases." Twelve Tongji University students attended the lecture at Shanghai Landing Law Offices, gaining knowledge and insights into the lawyer's work environment and atmosphere.

The lecture was divided into three main parts. The first part explained the methods and proportions of equity division in family cases, the second part focused on determining the discounted amount of equity, and the third part introduced general principles and special situations in equity inheritance. Drawing from years of practical experience in family law, Lawyer Guo classified and differentiated shareholder dispute cases in family cases, providing in-depth explanations of the course with a combination of legal provisions and practical examples.

After the lecture, students actively participated in discussions, engaging in exchanges with Lawyer Guo and other external tutors. They further explored the discussed case examples and expressed their expectations for future lectures. The course concluded successfully!
