In order to strengthen the cultivation of foreign-related legal talents, on May 18, Landi Law offices (hereinafter referred to as "Landing") and East China University of Political Science and Law (hereinafter referred to as "Huazheng") held a signing ceremony of the Cooperation Framework Agreement on the cultivating of foreign-related legal talents and Donation Agreement in the friendship building of Huazheng Changning Campus. The guests present included Taiyang Liu, Director of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Municipal Office of Governance by Law, Qing Ye, Deputy Secretary of the Political Party Committee and President of the Huazheng, Peili Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Political Party Committee of the Huazheng, and principals of Huazheng Academic Affairs Office, Graduate Education Institute, International Exchange Office, International Law Faculty, School of International Finance and Law and other functional departments and colleges, Director Yixing  Liu, executive director Jun Yin of Landing, other standing committee members, supervisory committee members, senior partners, Tao Song, reporter of "Democracy and Legal System" magazine. The signing ceremony was presided over by Saijin Chen, director of Social Collaboration Office, secretary of the school foundation, and director of the student affairs department of Huazheng.
 
After the ceremony officially started, Secretary Peili Ying and Lawyer Jun Yin signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement and Donation Agreement on behalf of the two parties respectively. President Qing Ye and Director Yixing Liu unveiled the plaque for Landing to become the Huazheng legal research and practice base. At the same time, Landing donated RMB 1 million to Huazheng to jointly promote the "100 Students Overseas Practice Project" with Huazheng. The ceremony formally established the cooperative relationship between Landing and Huazheng in the field of cultivating foreign-related legal talents.

At the ceremony, President Qing Ye welcomed the arrival of Landing, and expressed his gratitude to Landing for its continuous development and growth while still bearing the responsibilities of the country, not forgetting to donate money to students, not forgetting to cultivate high-quality foreign-related legal talents, and not forgetting to practice the social responsibility of an international-scale law firm. President Qing Ye emphasized that this cooperation is a new beginning for Huazheng and Landing, and he firmly believes that with the active participation and joint efforts of both parties, there will be mutual benefit and win-win results, and a group of outstanding foreign-related legal talents will be successfully cultivated for the country.
 

Director Yixing Liu introduced the development history of Landing to the guests, saying that Landing has developed to its current scale in just three and a half years，and first of all, we should be grateful for the great era we live in and the contributions of many legal students. Director Liu emphasized that the cultivation of foreign-related legal talents is an important measure to respond to the call of the Central Political Party Committee and the country and to cooperate with the national strategy. Facing the current international situation, we should guide and encourage young people to be good at taking up legal weapons to defend their country in the international arena. Landing is honored to be able to work with Huazheng in this era of innovation, change and the rule of law to make a small contribution to the cultivation of the next generation of outstanding foreign-related legal talents for the country.
 

Taiyang Liu, director of the secretariat of the Municipal Office of Shanghai Municipal Committee for Governance by Law, expressed congratulations on the cooperation between Huazheng and Landing. He emphasized that this signing marks a good start for the two parties to jointly cultivate foreign-related legal talents. He believes that the two sides will surely take this opportunity to cultivate a large number of foreign-related legal talents with international influence.

 
After the ceremony, the heads of various functional departments and colleges of Huazheng held in-depth discussions with colleagues from Landing on how to further implement the requirements of the cooperation agreement and improve the quality and efficiency of training foreign-related legal talents.
