In this law popularizing propaganda, Lawyer Jia focused on the highlights of the Civil Code and the revised Minors Protection Law.
 

First, Lawyer Jia introduced many problems in the current status of the protection of the rights and interests of minors.

Immediately afterwards, Lawyer Jia started from the impact of the revision of the Civil Code on the life and growth of minors, and through small cases, she explained the relevant legal provisions in the Civil Code in depth that have an important impact on the protection of minors. Through interpretation, we can see that after the implementation of the Civil Code, the principle of being most beneficial to minors has been running through it all along, and it has built a firewall for sexual assaults faced by minors.
 

By leading everyone to understand school misconduct and school violence, Lawyer Jia gave countermeasures, so that citizens have a more intuitive understanding of the protection of minors, and know which behaviors may violate the law and which may bear criminal responsibility.

 

Lawyer Jia believes that the revised "Minors Protection Law" has the following highlights:

1. For the first time, it is clarified that the coordination mechanism for the protection of minors is undertaken by the civil affairs department;

2. Establish an information query system for criminals such as sexual assault;

3. Establish a work system for the prevention of sexual assault and sexual harassment of minors;

4. Prevent Internet addiction, and innovate and develop the Internet protection system for minors;

5. Return to "the guardian is the first responsible person";

6. Multi-party participation to jointly build concentric circles for the protection of minors.

The revised "Minors Protection Law" will come into effect on June 1, 2021. The revised "Minors Protection Law" has added two new chapters, "Internet Protection" and "Government Protection", and the provisions have been increased from 72 to 132 articles. The protection of the rights and interests of minors has been strengthened.
