According to a survey conducted by China Business Law Journal, Mr. Gao was highly rated by his clients. Mr. Gao graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2010 with a master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law. After graduation, Mr. Gao practiced in Dentons' Shanghai office, and formally joined Landing law Offices in 2019. He is now a member of the Management Committee of Landing law Offices, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Department, an external tutor of the School of Law of Shanghai University, and an external tutor of the School of Cultural Creative Industries Management of the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, and Mr. Gao was honored with the "Rising Star Lawyer" award by China Business Law Journal in 2021, and was selected as one of the elite young lawyers in Chinese business.
Mr. Gao has more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property law practice and specializes in handling major and difficult intellectual property and unfair competition disputes in the field of Internet and high-tech. Mr. Gao has represented a number of first cases in the industry and cases with national influence, such as the "huya.com.cn" infringement/unfair competition dispute case, which is the first case of unfair competition dispute caused by domain name redirection in China, and the “zhoulibo.com” domain name ownership dispute case, which was awarded as one of the "Top 10 Typical Cases of Intellectual Property Judicial Protection in Shanghai in 2012" and one of the "50 Typical Cases of Intellectual Property Judicial Protection by the Supreme People's Court in 2012".
