On October 10, 2023, the seminar titled "Interpreting Amendments to the Company Law: Focusing on Judicial Practice in Corporate Governance" was successfully held in the Equality Conference Room at Landing's global headquarters. Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association invited Wang Guanghao, Senior Partner at Shanghai Landing Law Offices, member of the Headquarters System and Risk Control Committee, and Deputy Director of the Dispute Resolution Department, to share insights on the above topic. The seminar aimed to explore how to improve corporate governance mechanisms, enhance corporate governance standards, and promote the healthy development of corporate governance. The event was hosted by Ms. Gao Qiqi, a teacher from the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association, and Wang Guanghao served as the keynote speaker. Nearly 40 directors and members of the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association attended the seminar. Wang Guanghao, along with Liu Zhaofu, Senior Partner at Shanghai Landing Law Offices, Director of the Headquarters Construction and Real Estate Department, and invited expert of the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association Professional Committee, and their team warmly received the participants.

During the seminar, Wang Guanghao shared the following points regarding the revisions made in the third draft of the Company Law: improvement of the legal framework of the Company Law; enhancement of the registered capital subscription registration system; strengthening regulations concerning controlling shareholders, actual controllers, and directors and supervisors; refining provisions related to shareholder rights protection; improving regulations on the organization structure of state-owned enterprises; refining provisions on democratic management within companies; enhancing regulations related to corporate bonds; and refining provisions on company dissolution and liquidation.

Wang Guanghao also discussed the issues and risks brought about by the company's capital system. He analyzed the differences between the third draft, the existing Company Law, the first draft, and the second draft. He illustrated his points with typical cases, focusing on practical judicial aspects of corporate governance. His presentation was concise and rich in content.

After the seminar, the directors and members of the Shanghai Corporate Counsel Association engaged in enthusiastic discussions with Wang Guanghao about practical issues in corporate governance. Wang Guanghao shared his own experiences and insights from his involvement in corporate governance work. The seminar received a warm response, and it was considered a complete success.
