This presentation was conducted both offline and through an online livestream. Consultant Hu Yan, utilizing her extensive case-handling experience in Mexico, intricately dissected the standards for achieving origin status, substantial modifications, and changes in tariff classifications under the USMCA framework. Lawyer Wang Yaping provided a detailed explanation of critical elements in the North American import-export compliance system, including the customs entry system, U.S. export controls, and the main U.S. enforcement agencies. She comprehensively highlighted the compliance considerations under the North American CTPAT system and the impact of rules of origin, offering robust support for enterprises expanding overseas.
  • In February, Senior Partner Wang Yunqing was invited by the headquarters of a major regional listed bank to deliver a lecture on "Mexican Investment Legal Practices and Common Legal Risks" at a seminar aimed at the bank’s clients interested in overseas investments. He extensively covered the typical legal procedures for Chinese enterprises investing in Mexico and provided an in-depth interpretation of the prevalent legal risks and preventive recommendations for businesses operating in the region. His presentation was highly acclaimed by both the organizing bank and the numerous business representatives present.
  • On February 23rd, Senior Partner Yin Xiangnan, Zou Xiaoqiong, Fu Yao, and Xu Yudi attended a consultation meeting focused on promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative.
