On September 22, the Xi'an Youth Legal Practitioners Association [西安市青年法律工作者协会] (hereafter referred to as the "Association") held its inaugural general assembly in Xi'an. Three youthful lawyers from Landing (Xi'an) Law Offices—Zhou Zijun, Feng Wenjing, and Yu Jianzhang—participated as members. Together with association members from various legal sectors across Xi'an, they bore witness to this momentous occasion.

The Association commenced preparations at the close of 2020. Its mission is to expedite the rule-of-law process in protecting the rights of minors within the city, unify and guide young legal practitioners to actively engage in legal education and advocacy for youth, and contribute to the construction of a legally compliant Xi'an. The first cohort of the Xi'an Youth Legal Association comprises 80 individuals, encompassing diverse fields such as the judiciary, political and legal systems, academia, and legal practice. Following its establishment, the association aims to deepen the involvement of young legal professionals in the work of rule-of-law development, with a particular and sustained focus on the protection of minors' rights and interests.

Zhou Zijun, the Deputy Director of Landing's National Youth Lawyer Practitioners Committee and a lawyer at Landing (Xi'an) Law Offices, played an early role in the preparatory process and was subsequently elected as a director of the first board of the Association. Feng Wenjing and Yu Jianzhang, representing Landing's outstanding young lawyers in Xi'an, were also inducted as official members of the inaugural Association.
