On October 29, 2025, a delegation including Benjamin Wells and Alexey Kondratchik, partners of Belgravia Law Firm in the United Kingdom, visited Landing Law Offices. They were jointly received by Li Yueqing, Senior Partner and Director of Landing’s International Investment and Trade Department; Li Jinhua, Senior Partner of Landing’s Suzhou office; as well as Senior Partner Yin Jiake and Partner Zhao Yanhua of Landing. The two sides conducted extensive exchanges on cooperation opportunities in international arbitration, international sanctions, and shipping and maritime legal services.

At the outset of the meeting, Attorney Li Yueqing welcomed the visiting guests and introduced Landing’s overall layout in international arbitration, global trade and investment, cross-border dispute resolution, and maritime practice. She noted that, against the backdrop of accelerating linkages in the global legal services market, Chinese and British law firms are highly complementary in international dispute resolution and cross-border compliance, and that the prospects for cooperation are broad.

The two sides then held in-depth discussions on topics including international sanctions risk management, typical approaches to handling maritime disputes, the latest trends in arbitral institutional rules, and the legal challenges faced by Chinese enterprises in the United Kingdom and Europe. Both sides agreed that, going forward, they would further consolidate the foundation for cooperation through regular communication mechanisms, joint seminars, and case collaboration, and promote a more stable and efficient cooperation model in international arbitration, sanctions compliance, shipping and maritime matters, and broader cross-border legal fields.
