Profile

John Z. Huang, director of LANDING Chicago Office, received his J.D. at Yale University and his master degree at Wuhan University. Mr. Huang is qualified to practice law in the state of Illinois and the state of New York.

Mr. Huang has over 30 years legal experience in the U.S. since 1991. He has considerable expertise in foreign investment, international business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, dissolution and liquidation of foreign-invested enterprises, and risk structuring.

In the case of ZHENG Shaoxiong, a Chinese student at the University of Chicago killed in an armed robbery in November 2021, it was Mr. Huang who acted as the legal counsel for the victim’s family. Compared with the selection of Super Lawyers in each state, the selection of LAA is among the 1.4 million practicing lawyers in the U.S. Candidates are comprehensively evaluated by their qualifications, performance and social reputation and other indicators with only 1% awarded the title of Premier Lawyers of America.
